DHS CBP Test Engineer

Job Description 

The candidate will perform Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services for DHS CBP, Office of Acquisition (OA) to verify and validate that all products and systems acquired for border control and security at and between the United States (US) Ports of Entry (POE) comply with CBP requirements and that program management is performed in an effective and efficient manner.

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must possess a Bachelor’s in Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline.

Required Experience: The candidate should have the following experience working with the government and other contractors:

• Experience testing models of various technologies in a virtual environment
• Experience in performing independent testing of the system
• Experience developing and evaluation test scenarios and reviewing and evaluating test documents

Minimum Clearance

Existing, or ability to qualify for a DHS/CBP clearance required

Travel

Travel may be required to DHS CBP sites located across the United States.
